DECISION TO BUILD

CONCEPT
After your free initial consultation, a design brief is developed. A floor plan and sketches of how the building might look are emailed to you. You can visualise your new building and the drawing table will prepare a set of costing’s from the design documents.
PLANS
The Drawing Table team produces a set of detailed plans, which make life easier for builders and, therefore the building process will be straightforward for the client.
CONSENTS
The drawing table will act as your agent for the building consents, smoothing the way and speeding up the process with local council, if you would require.
CONTRACT DOCUMENTATION
You will receive a professional set of building consent drawings, calculations, material and work specifications along with the building consent applications and producer statements.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
The project management is an option that you may wish to consider. Patrik has vast experience and is licensed to manage the building site, he can run labour only contracts with full management of materials, labour and quality control on your behalf. This ensures that the building process is fully documented, and that accidental over-charging does not occur. And the project will proceed on the time with the minimum of fuss.
OUR FEES
On a fixed fee basis we will give you a written fee proposal where we agree to produce your documentation needs from concept plans through to full working drawings including the management of the building consent application process.
In some cases this is broken up into two stages, first the concept plan stage, and once the initial design is agreed upon another fee proposal or the working drawing stage.
